Nineteen Consecutive Victories

According to ESPN, this is a record for the top flight of any European league. Bayern set this record in March 2014; their run ended with a 3–3 draw at home to Hoffenheim (with the Bundesliga title confirmed in the previous game, a 3–1 win away to Hertha Berlin).

This received coverage in the British media in December 2017, when Manchester City came close to breaking the record. In the end they fell one short of equalling it, drawing 0–0 away to Crystal Palace on New Year's Eve after 18 consecutive victories.

Interest was further piqued by the fact that City had the same manager as Bayern had during their record run: Pep Guardiola.

What's the record number of victories at any level in European football? I don't know – nobody seems to care! (I suppose it's complicated by the issue of how far down the divisions you should go.)
